New Zealand – Germany Partnering Event: Horizon Europe NATURE & Biodiversity Topics 2027

Looking for partners for a Horizon Europe proposal on nature and biodiversity? Join our virtual partnering event to connect with potential project partners, present your expertise or project idea, and find organisations for your consortium.

The New Zealand and German National Contact Points for Cluster 6 are organising a joint virtual partnering event focusing on the Horizon Europe Nature topics and the 2027 Biodiversity topics.

The event aims to bring together researchers, organisations and emerging consortia from Germany and New Zealand at an early stage of consortium building. Participants will have the opportunity to briefly present their project ideas, expertise and partner needs and to connect with potential partners from the other country or their own. You can present yourself and your idea in a pitch, or listen in on the pitches of others, and contact those that you find of interest.

Agenda:

Welcome & introduction 5–10 minutes

Pitching sessions – Nature & Biodiversity 60–80 minutes

Closing & next steps 5 minutes

Interested in pitching?

Are you already developing a project idea or part of an emerging consortium for one of the relevant Nature or Biodiversity topics? Or do you have specific expertise that you would like to contribute to a Horizon Europe project?

You are welcome to apply for a pitch as part of the registration process.

Pitches should be short and focused on the information that is most relevant for potential partners.

Pitch slots are limited and will be confirmed by the organisers. Further information on the pitch format and technical requirements will be provided to selected participants.

If you would like to give a pitch, we encourage you to register by 15 October 2026. We may still be able to accommodate late registrations, depending on the availability of pitch slots.

Participation is free of charge and the event will take place online.
